Theology on the Web helps over 2.5 million people every year to find high quality theological resources that will help to equip them to serve God and to know Him better (2 Timothy 2:15). Algiers Mission Band

The Algiers Mission Band Journals were written by I. Lilias Trotter as a means of informing her supporters (mainly in the United Kingdom) with an account of the progress of the work in Algeria. Several copies of the text were duplicated (the early ones were handwritten) and then each copy illustrated with postcards, photographs or some of Lilias Trotter's paintings and drawings. They provide a unique account of Christian mission work in a majority Muslim country, then under French rule.

The Algiers Mission Band Journals have been digitised in partnership with AWM Pioneers.
